Location

Rochor MRT Station (DT13) is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown Line Stage 2 in Singapore, formerly known as the Bukit Timah Line. The station will link the East West MRT Line and the North East MRT Line along the Bukit Timah corridor, serving the commercial areas to the south of Little India. Major buildings in the proximity include Sim Lim Square, The Verge and the Lasalle College of the Arts. This station was originally planned to be an interchange with Downtown Line Stage 3, but the plan was abandoned, reason being DTL3 track cannot swing sharply to meet this station that is located off Jalan Besar.[1]
